Jumio is one of a number of firms trying simplify and speed up transactions by using the phone camera.
Its tech scans and recognises cards and other ID docs with a photograph, so there’s no need for customers to manually enter credit card payment information.
Netswipe Version 2.0 features include faster scanning and the ability to capture all of the customer’s card data.
Customers now only need to enter the 3-digit CVV number to complete the transaction.
The firm says the process has been reduced from about five seconds down to an instant.
Netswipe 2.0 is available for merchant apps running on iOS and Android and requires as little as 30 minutes to embed.
